Our content is aimed at people starting their journey in mastering personal finance. There is no limit to when you can start learning.

We based our modules on the Socratic method which uses questions to stimulate thinking and answers…except that we reversed it. We put the student in the driver’s seat such that the questions are asked from the student’s perspective, instead of from the teacher (e.g., Socrates).

We intend to add more modules (investing, taxes, and security) and new forms of learning.

We developed our own proprietary learning management system built specifically to help people learn the basics of personal finance.

Yes. We built a scalable b2b architecture which allows us to launch a fully functioning knowledge platform for any organization in less than 15 minutes.

The Kindros Foundation’s online financial knowledge platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Kindros is free for individuals and available for a free trial period for organizations.

While there is no time limit, our modules typically take 30-45 minutes each and we currently offer 9 modules.

The Kindros Foundation is a nonprofit public charity 501(c)(3). A public charity is not owned by anyone but exists to serve the general public and is overseen by an independent board of directors.

The Kindros Foundation was founded by Stephen Martiros who built the online financial literacy platform and content. Initial funding for the foundation was provided by Kathy Jaharis and the Sleeping Phoenix Foundation.

The name Kindros is a combination of the word “kindred” and the word “logos” (the Greek word for logic or reason).
